LADAKH is popularly known as the “Land of the Split Moon”, a land of snow-carved peaks, clear lakes, barren terrain and mystical culture.
The Ladakh region is located on the border with Tibet, in the eastern part of the state of Kashmir.
Bordered by two of the largest mountain ranges in the world, the Great Himalayas and the Karakorum, Ladakh is a land unlike any other. It is called “Little Tibet” or “The Last Shangri-La”.

Tour program:
Day 1. Airport – Leh (by plane)
Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative.
Meeting and transfer to the guest house.
Welcome drink upon arrival. We recommend that you relax completely for the rest of the day to acclimatize to the thin air at high altitude.
Overnight in Les.
Day 2. Lech – Alchi,
Varnish – Lech.
After breakfast, drive to the western side of Leh.
HALL OF FAME, a museum built and maintained by the Indian Army to commemorate the brave soldiers who died in the Indo-Pakistani wars, then visit Spituk Monastery (Kali Mata Temple).
MAGNETIC HILL:
Against the law of gravity. This place is close to Sri Pattara Sahib Gurdwara.
It has been observed that when the car is parked in neutral on this metalled road, it slides uphill and believe it or not it always happens in Ladakh.
ZANSKARA AND THE INDUS.
On the way to the Sham valley, in front of the village of Nimu, there is a wonderful view of two rivers.
Depending on the season, they have different colors.
A trip to the village of Alchi and a visit to the monastery.
The large temple complex of Alchi, founded in the 11th century, is considered one of the most important Buddhist centers in Ladakh and a gem of monastic art.
On your way back from Alchi, visit Likir.
Likir monastery or gompa is one of the oldest and well-kept monasteries of Ladakh.
The monastery is located in the village of Likir and is believed to have existed since the 11th century. The monastery is also famous for the 75-foot Buddha statue.
Day 3. Nubra.
Early morning drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass which is situated at an altitude of 18,360 feet and is considered to be the highest passable pass in the world.
The pass is almost always covered with fog and snow.
In the afternoon we will visit Hunder and Diskit monastery and white sand dunes.
The safari tour is carried out on two-humped camels, which are found only in the Nubra Valley.
Deskit, headquarters in the Nubra Valley.
You can get to Deskit after driving 20 km.
Historically and touristically, Deskit is known for its 515-year-old Buddhist monastery, beautifully situated on a hilltop overlooking the entire valley.
We will also see Diskit Chamba, a 32-meter statue of Maitreya Buddha near the Diskit Monastery.
Return to the hotel. Overnight in Nubra.
Day 4. Nubra-Pangong
Pangong Lake is 150 km from Leh.
The name Pangong means long, narrow, enchanted lake.
The picturesque place is a favorite location for tourists for photography.
Due to the salinity of the water in the lake, there is very little micro-vegetation.
There are no fish or other aquatic inhabitants in the lake, except for some small crustaceans. However, many ducks and seagulls can be seen on the surface of the lake and on its surface, which is very attractive to tourists.
Overnight in Pangong.
Day 5. Pangong – Leh.
After breakfast, take a walk to Pangong Lake, the highest salt water lake in the world, owned by the two countries of India (25%) and China (75%), enjoy the beauty of the lake.
Overnight in Les.
Day 6. Leh.
All day sightseeing of local attractions.
After breakfast we will visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
Shanti Stupa: Located on top of a hill in Changspa. The stupa was built by a Japanese Buddhist organization known as Japanese for World Peace. The purpose of the construction of the Stupa was to commemorate the 2500th anniversary of Buddhism and to promote world peace.
Leh Palace: Built in the 17th century, it was built as a residential palace for King Singge Namgyal.
Much smaller, but reminiscent of the Potala in Lhasa, Leh Palace now lies in ruins. It has nine floors and has been derelict since the royal family moved to Stoke Palace in the 1830s.
It was the home of the royal family until they were exiled to Stoke in the 1830s.
Second half, free time, shopping.
Overnight in Les.
Day 7. Leh to the airport.
After breakfast, transfer from Leh to the airport.
