She personifies the loving mother of the universe, is the wife of Vishnu, sympathizing with living beings, always ready to help.
Legend has it that the goddess Lakshmi appeared from a lotus flower floating on the surface of the primeval ocean. According to other ideas, when the gods and asuras plowed the ocean, a goddess emerged from it with a lotus. The lotus flower is the personification of purity and enlightenment – the main symbol of Lakshmi, which accompanies and decorates her image.
The four hands of the goddess indicate her ability to give people: righteousness, prosperity, material stability, spiritual development and liberation.
Goddess Lakshmi manifests her energy through all flowers that are large in size, such as roses, lotuses, daffodils, dahlias.
In man, Lakshmi together with Surya (Sun) rules the heart center – anahata chakra. It controls lipid metabolism and carbohydrate metabolism, as well as the distribution of maja (fat tissue) throughout the body, stimulates the synthesis of insulin.
The mantra of the goddess Lakshmi, which is pronounced with good thoughts, true trust, sincerity and focus on the energy of prosperity, together with visualization, gives abundance, success in everything, promotes the revelation of noble qualities, wisdom, humanity, humility, compassion, kindness, develops human superpowers, such as telepathy, clairvoyance and others, helps the consciousness to rise to a higher level.
