Nakshatra Revati
Revati (16°40′ – 30°00′ Pisces)
Varahamihira: Moon in Revata gives a perfect body, gentle manners, deep learning, wealth and no desire to seek other people’s property.
General instructions: Revati’s symbol is a dial and its deity is Pushan, who protects food and ensures safety on the road. Symbolized by the dial, Revathi governs all that increases and increases, including time. Sometimes the activity marked by the influence of this nakshatra unfolds in leaps and bounds, accompanied by fanfare and clatter. Everything related to the comforts of travel, namely security, shelter and hospitality, falls under Revati’s competence.
The Lagna or the Moon here often indicates a hospitable host, a reliable and responsible friend who is sociable simply because he likes to talk. Pushan, who is also associated with the discovery of missing things and objects, is the master of the heavenly cows, and under his care comes reproduction, breeding and guardianship.
When in our classes one student, finding a moment, said that in the horoscope of a woman, the Moon is in the 4th house in Revata, our jyotish guru (or Ishta devata spoke through his mouth) immediately clearly and unequivocally stated: “So she has to be two mothers!” And so it was – she had both a mother and a stepmother. Mark the agreement between the two factors: the 4th house and the Moon, both dispositors of the mother, were in the two-bodied sign of Pisces, in the Revati nakshatra! This effect was enhanced by other factors, including the strong defeat of the Moon by Saturn. Revati is also often associated with children’s diseases.

Occupations, people and places of residence: Someone or something related to time: wall and wrist clocks, calendar makers, etc. People whose work is unthinkable without roads: planners, repair crews, travelers, etc. Foster parents, foster siblings, and other such relationships.
